I'd love to hear others weigh in on Anti-tracker. I thought that Chrome extensions were supposed to work in Chromium Edge, but now I am learning that not everything is support in Chromium Edge. Has anyone else experienced similar difficulty with Anti-Tracker? In Edge or other browsers? I'm curious if it's because the extension isn't specifically for designed for Chromium Edge. Closed the tab, reopened the site, and could not get the final Place Order button to work until I disabled the extension and started a new browser. Paused Protection in the Anti-Tracker extension. I was able to get to the final checkout button, but clicking it didn't work. I could not complete the checkout procedure. I thought that it was working OK, until I tried to make a purchase from tonight. Step 3: You should be seeing a pop-up window in the next second. That is where you can add a particular URL to white-list of Bitdefender security product. In the bottom part of the window, you will find a link named ‘Whitelist’. I found that I can install the Anti-Tracker extension from the Chrome Web Store. Now, in the upcoming page, you can see a list of options such as Search Advisor, Scan SSL, Anti-Fraud Protection etc. I contacted Bitdefender support about Anti-Tracker and Edge, to which they responded "Unfortunately, we don't have an official answer if or when the Anti-Tracker module will work with Chromium Edge, however, we will announce if there will be any changes regarding this." Edge holds a similar market share as Firefox and Internet Explorer, both of which are supported. I think this is something that Bitdefender needs to address. So I just set up a fresh Windows 10 Pro install on my daily driver, loaded up Bitdefender, and am trying to use Chromium Edge as my primary browser.įirst thing I found was that Bitdefender doesn't support the Edge browser. One of the features that I didn't use / have in the free version was Anti-tracker. Just bought the Family Pack 2020 15 Devices from Fry's.
